These Terms of Use govern your use of Hemio ("App"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these terms.
IMPORTANT MEDICAL NOTICE: Hemio is not a medical device, does not provide medical diagnoses, and does not offer treatment recommendations. The App makes your blood test results understandable for informational purposes only. Always make health decisions together with a healthcare professional.
1. Service Description
Hemio is an iOS application that uses artificial intelligence to make blood test results understandable. The App provides the following services:
- Scanning lab reports via OCR and AI Vision to extract values
- AI-powered result analysis and plain-language summaries
- Tracking value trends over time
- Personalized health guide recommendations (Premium)
- Suggested questions for doctor visits
- Family profile management
2. Medical Disclaimer
All information provided by Hemio is for informational purposes only and does not replace:
- Medical diagnosis
- Treatment recommendations or prescriptions
- Professional healthcare advice
- Emergency medical care
Always make health-related decisions with a healthcare professional. In a medical emergency, call your local emergency number immediately or visit the nearest emergency room.
3. Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old to use the App.
- Family profiles for individuals under 18 may only be created and managed by a parent or legal guardian.
- You are responsible for providing accurate and up-to-date information.
- You are responsible for the security of your account.
4. AI Analysis Limitations
What you should know about Hemio's AI analysis results:
- AI analysis depends on the accuracy of the input data. OCR or AI Vision extraction errors may affect results.
- Reference ranges are population-based and may vary for your individual situation.
- The AI model may be updated from time to time, and results may differ accordingly.
- Health guide recommendations are general guidance, not clinical therapy.
- The App recommends always considering the possibility of errors in AI analysis.
5. Subscriptions and Purchases
5.1 Free Usage
Hemio offers 2 free scans in total. Basic AI analysis and limited features are available with free usage.
5.2 Premium Subscription
- Monthly: $4.99/month (auto-renewing)
- Yearly: $29.99/year (auto-renewing)
5.3 One-Time Purchase
- Single Scan: $0.99 (one analysis credit)
5.4 Subscription Terms
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID account upon purchase confirmation.
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Subscription management and cancellation are handled via Apple ID Settings → Subscriptions.
- If a free trial is offered, any unused portion is forfeited upon subscription purchase.
- Prices exclude taxes and may vary by country.
6. Acceptable Use
The following activities are prohibited:
- Reverse engineering, decompiling, or modifying the App
- Unauthorized use of APIs or automated querying
- Entering false or misleading health data
- Using or promoting the App as a medical device
- Entering or managing another person's data without their consent
- Using the App for any unlawful purpose
7. Intellectual Property
The Hemio application, its content, design, logo, and all related intellectual property rights belong to Kurtuluş Ahmet TEMEL. Users may:
- Use the App solely for personal, non-commercial purposes.
- Store and share AI-generated personal analysis results for their own use.
- Not copy or commercially exploit the App's content, design, or AI prompts.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
- Kurtuluş Ahmet TEMEL is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of Hemio.
- The accuracy, completeness, or reliability of AI analysis results is not guaranteed.
- No liability is accepted for incorrect value readings resulting from OCR or AI Vision errors.
- The suitability of nutrition plan recommendations for your individual health situation is not guaranteed.
- No liability is accepted for service interruptions, data loss, or third-party service disruptions.
9. Service Changes
- We reserve the right to modify the App's features, pricing, or availability with or without prior notice.
- Maintenance periods and mandatory updates are communicated via the App.
- AI model updates may affect analysis results.
10. Account Termination
- You may terminate your use at any time by deleting the App.
- We may restrict your access if you violate the acceptable use rules.
- Upon termination, you must cancel any active subscription through Apple.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey. Turkish courts have jurisdiction over any disputes.
12. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update these terms. You will be notified of significant changes via an in-app notification. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
