Terms of Use

Welcome to Packrist: Travel Planner ("Packrist", "the App", "we", "our", or "us"). These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Packrist mobile application developed by Kurtulus Ahmet TEMEL.

By downloading, installing, or using Packrist, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. About Packrist

Packrist is a travel planning and packing management application for iOS that helps users:

• Create and manage trips with detailed packing lists
• Track travel budgets and expenses
• Plan daily activities and routes
• Record visited countries on an interactive world map
• Store travel documents and booking confirmations
• Get AI-powered travel advice from an integrated travel guide
• Collaborate on trip planning with other users
• Sync calendar events with trips

2. Account Registration

To access certain features, you must create an account using Apple Sign In. By creating an account, you agree that:

• You are at least 13 years of age (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction)
• You will provide accurate information
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account
• You will notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

3. Free and Premium Features

Packrist offers both free and premium features:

3.1 Free Features

The free version includes limited access to trips, packing lists, budget tracking, and map features with certain usage limits.

3.2 Premium Subscription

Premium unlocks all features without limits, including AI travel guide, smart packing suggestions, collaboration, document storage, and calendar sync. Premium is available in the following plans:

4. Subscription Terms

• Subscriptions are processed through the Apple App Store and managed via your Apple ID.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
• You can manage and cancel your subscriptions by going to your Apple ID account settings on your device.
• Any unused portion of a free trial period is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

5. Refund Policy

Since all purchases are processed through the Apple App Store, refund requests must be submitted directly to Apple. We do not have the ability to process refunds. You can request a refund through:

• Apple Support

6. User Content and Conduct

6.1 Your Content

You retain ownership of all content you create in Packrist (trip data, packing lists, notes, documents). By using the App, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your content solely to provide our services to you.

6.2 Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or its systems
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the App
• Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the App
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the App
• Share abusive, harmful, or inappropriate content through collaboration features
• Attempt to bypass subscription or usage limits

7. AI Travel Guide

• AI responses are generated automatically and may not always be accurate or up to date.
• We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of AI-generated content.
• Travel recommendations should be verified independently before making decisions.
• AI conversations are subject to daily usage limits based on your subscription tier.
• We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the AI feature at any time.

8. Trip Collaboration

Packrist allows you to share trips with other users. When using collaboration features:

• You are responsible for the share codes you generate and distribute.
• Collaborators receive a copy of the shared trip data.
• You can disable sharing at any time, which prevents new users from joining.
• We are not responsible for how collaborators use shared trip information.

9. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, graphics, icons, logos, and content (excluding user-generated content), is the intellectual property of Kurtulus Ahmet TEMEL and is protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding:

• The App's uninterrupted or error-free operation
• The accuracy of AI-generated travel recommendations
• The security of data transmitted over the internet
• Compatibility with all devices or operating system versions

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Kurtulus Ahmet TEMEL shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from:

• Your use or inability to use the App
• Any errors or omissions in the App's content
• Loss of data or unauthorized access to your data
• Actions taken based on AI travel guide recommendations
• Any interruption or cessation of the App's services

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination:

• Your access to premium features will cease
• Your data may be deleted after a reasonable retention period
• Active subscriptions must be cancelled separately through Apple

13. Privacy

Your use of Packrist is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Turkey, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Istanbul, Turkey.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
