AI-generated responses within Embya (hormone interpretations, journal support, Ask AI) are provided for informational and emotional support purposes only. They are based on general published reference ranges and are not tailored to your specific clinical situation.

Embya is an iOS companion application for individuals navigating IVF (in vitro fertilization) and related fertility treatments. The app is developed and operated by Kurtuluş Ahmet TEMEL.
Embya helps users:
You must be at least 18 years of age to use Embya. By using the app, you represent and warrant that you are 18 or older and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
This is the most important section of these Terms. Please read it carefully.
Embya does not require account registration. Your data is stored on your device and optionally synced through your personal Apple iCloud account via CloudKit. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Apple ID and device.
Embya developers do not have access to your iCloud data. If you lose access to your Apple ID, we cannot recover your data.
Embya is available for free with the following limitations:
Premium unlocks unlimited tracking, AI features, and additional capabilities. The following subscription options are available:

The 3-day free trial is available for the Yearly plan for new subscribers only. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, you will be charged the full annual price. You can cancel at any time during the trial at no charge.
The Lifetime plan grants access to all current Premium features for as long as Embya is available. It does not guarantee access to features added in future major versions that may be offered under a separate pricing model, though we intend to honor Lifetime access for all core features.
If you reinstall the app or switch devices, use the "Restore Purchases" button in the app's Profile tab to recover your Premium access.

Embya's AI features are powered by Anthropic's Claude API. By using AI features, you acknowledge:
Hormone reference ranges displayed in the app are sourced from peer-reviewed clinical literature and professional society guidelines (ESHRE, ASRM, LOINC, Mayo Clinic Lab, UI Health Care Laboratory). They are provided to give you general context when reviewing your results.

All content within Embya — including but not limited to the app design, graphics, software, text, AI prompt architecture, and the Embya name and logo — is the intellectual property of Kurtuluş Ahmet TEMEL and is protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.
Your personal data (cycle logs, journal entries, etc.) remains your own. Kurtuluş Ahmet TEMEL claims no ownership over the content you enter into the app.
Embya is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that:

These Terms are governed by the laws of Turkey, without regard to its conflict of law principles. For users in the European Union, mandatory consumer protection provisions of your country of residence also apply.
Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of Embya shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Turkey, except where prohibited by applicable law.
Embya integrates with third-party services including Apple's App Store and CloudKit, Firebase (Google), RevenueCat, and Anthropic. Your use of these services is also governed by their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of these third parties.
We may terminate or suspend your access to the app immediately, without prior notice, if you breach these Terms. You may stop using the app at any time. Active subscriptions must be cancelled through the App Store. Upon termination, provisions that by their nature should survive will remain in effect, including intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability.
