Terms of Use
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) form an agreement between you and Tugce Temel (“we,” “us,” or “our”) governing your use of the Nidio mobile app (the “App”). By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By installing or using the App, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. These Terms apply to all users of the App.
2. Description of the Service
Nidio is an AI-assisted parenting companion that helps parents and caregivers track, journal, and learn about their child’s development from pregnancy through age 6. Features include a baby profile, journal entries and photos, tracking for measurements, feeding, sleep, milestones, vaccines and appointments, and optional premium AI features (an AI assistant and AI insights). All content and AI responses are provided for general informational and organizational purposes only.
Nidio is an information and tracking tool, not a medical device or healthcare provider. The content, suggestions, and AI-generated responses in the App do not provide medical diagnosis or treatment and are not a substitute for professional medical advice.
Always consult a qualified healthcare professional with any questions about your health, your pregnancy, or your child’s health, and before making any medical decision. Never disregard or delay seeking professional advice because of something you read or received in the App.
In an emergency, call your local emergency services immediately (for example, 112 in Türkiye and across the EU, or 911 in the United States).
3. Eligibility & Your Content
You must be at least 18 years old and acting as a parent or caregiver to use the App. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter. Your journal entries, photos, and tracking data belong to you; this content is stored on your device and in your own iCloud, and we do not access it or claim ownership of it. 4. Subscriptions & Auto-Renewal
Some features are free; premium features (including AI features) are unlocked through an auto-renewable subscription purchased through the App Store. The following terms apply:
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID account upon confirmation of purchase.
- Your subscription automatically renews for the same period at the then-current price unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. The renewal charge is applied within 24 hours before the period ends.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your device’s Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
- The 3-day free trial offered on the annual plan will automatically convert to a paid subscription at the end of the trial unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
- Prices may vary by country and are subject to Apple’s price tiers.
Purchases and subscriptions are also subject to Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement (EULA).
5. Intellectual Property
The App, including its software, design, text, graphics, and the “Nidio” name and brand, is owned by Tugce Temel and is protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for its intended purpose. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from the App except as expressly permitted.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms;
- reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App, except where permitted by law;
- interfere with, disrupt, overload, or abuse the App or its backend services (including the AI features and fair-use limits);
- submit content that infringes the rights of others or that is unlawful.
Please also do not include sensitive personal information in AI conversations, as the text you submit is sent to our processing gateway and to Anthropic to generate a response (see the Privacy Policy).
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any content or AI-generated response is accurate, complete, or suitable for your circumstances.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Tugce Temel and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, arising out of or relating to your use of (or inability to use) the App. Medical and health decisions are solely your responsibility and that of your qualified healthcare professional. Where liability cannot be excluded under applicable law, it is limited to the greatest extent permitted by that law.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you within the App. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. The current version is always published at this address.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. (The operator may change this governing-law jurisdiction to match where the App is offered and operated.)
